AER Strategic Plan Highlights Pipeline Safety

The Alberta Energy Regulator released its 2017-20 strategic plan, which includes their strategic priorities, outcomes, performance measures, and targets. They are adapting their regulatory approach and coordinating their work with other ministries and agencies to manage risk and make sure the environment and public safety are protected.
They have specifically set a target of a 2% reduction in high-consequence pipeline incidents from the previous two-year average. View the report here.
